Monday~ Discuss polyatomic ions, compounds in food and physical and chemical changes complete "chemicals on my plate" food log for tomorrow
Tuesday~. We will discuss the "Chemicals on my Plate PSA" in class. Students will complete Food PSA in class.
Wednesday~ Students will turn in food PSA in class via email. We will conduct the Total cereal lab in class. Students will write lab report and submit by end of class on Tuesday.
Thursday~ We will conduct an ivestigation on the pH scale. Students should create a 3-6 panel comic showing one of the following: ionic bond, covalent bond, or a compound.
Friday~ We will watch a segment of Sky High. Students will select one character and describe the element that is the driving force behind that super hero based on the properties of a particular element and the similarities to the powers displayed.
Monday- Students will begin to present PSAs. Students will be given time in class to work on Total cereal lab report.
Tuesday- Students will continue to share PSAs. Students will submit Total cereal lab.
Wednesday- We will take part in the Chemistry Station Migration.
Thursday~ Chemistry Station Migration due. Begin element super hero project.
Friday~ Quiz over ionic bonds, covalent bonds, electron dot diagrams, Bohr models, compounds, periodic table Watch a segment of Sky High.
