Week of February 1 Standard: 8.2.3 8.2.5 Big Idea: How does weather impact people?
UPDATE weather log DAILY.................
Monday- Use your weather data and select 10 days. Choose 2 pieces of data and put them on the graph. Please look for any correlations. Do you see any connections in the data that you graphed?
Tuesday- We will share our weather event video projects in class. Be prepared to do a peer review for each of the presentations.
Wednesday- We will finish sharing our weather event video projects in class. We will also share any weather reflections that have not been shared. This is the final opportunity to do so. This assignment was due over 2 weeks back.
Thursday- We will read and discuss an article related to winter hydration and its impact on the body. Be prepared to implement some literacy strategies when reading the piece. We will discuss graphing and take a look at our practice graphs from Monday. Students will have the opportunity to redo graphs for a final submission on Tuesday.
Friday- If we complete all of the planned activities, this day will be used to review some of the concepts we learned earlier in the year related to ecology by playing a game called Earthopoly.
