Step by step for use of Curry Samara Matrix 1. list the basic facts/standards that students should know for a given unit (vocabulary terms fit here) 2. list the global concepts or "big ideas" for the unit 3. write each of the activities/lessons for a unit on a post-it note 4. categorize each of the activities/lessons into the basic thinking or abstract thinking categories 5. analyze where the lessons/activities fit on the matrix 6. adjust lessons as needed using DOK as a guide
